Hockey celebrates its 20th consecutive year in the Texas Panhandle. No other professional sport can say that.
The Amarillo Bulls enter their eighth season in the North American Hockey League, a 24-team league stretching from Alaska to Texas featuring the top 16 to 20 year-old players aspiring to play collegiate and/or professional hockey.
The Bulls won the 2013 Robertson Cup National Championship, have captured the South Division a record three times and were crowned NAHL overall champions during the regular season as well as being chosen NAHL Franchise Of The Year.
The Bulls have moved 55 players on to NCAA Division I and III schools.
All home games are played in the Amarillo Civic Center Coliseum. The season begins in mid-September and lasts until April. For ticket information call 806-242-1122.
