While in Palo Duro Canyon State Park, stop by Old West Stables to ride on horseback where cowboys and Native Americans roamed. See the beautiful back country of this magnificent canyon. Hayrides are also available but some activities are subject to seasonal schedules.

Keep in mind extreme summer temperatures in the canyon and plan your summer ride in the morning. And always take extra water with you on your ride.
